Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
